Battle of Bladensburg: 1814

This was an intriguing game where I used the For Honor and Glory rules with my Hold the Line board, Risk figures and the FHG counters I'd printed out and mounted.

This should have been a straightforward British victory and it seemed so until late in the battle a couple of fortunate clashes between the Dragoons and British advanced guard saw both Generals eliminated and the Americans able to gain the necessary victory points and hold on. A history reversal which might have saved the capital being occupied and the Whitehouse being burned down.

The cat was happy to support the Americans in this endevour. Treacherous creature!

Battle Cry: Gettysburg 2 July

An enjoyable Civil War scenario recreating the 2nd day of the Battle. This ended with a Confederate victory after a decisive push on the Union right.

The cat got in on the act too! Can't do that General!
